PID control takes the control of brewing temperature from simple stock thermostat to an electronic unit which uses an algorithm to decide exactly when to turn the heater on and off in a more complicated pattern. Thus it stabilizes the temperature of the water inside boiler much better then the stock thermostat.

With this kit, expected temperature variation during brewing becomes +/-1C

This kit also includes steaming function to stabilise long lasting high pressure during steaming.
